The award-winning DOL 53 is a sensor designed for continuous measurement of ammonia (NH3) concentration in livestock housing. The negative effects of high ammonia concentrations in livestock housing are well known. With the introduction of the DOL 53, the farmer is finally able to continuously measure the ammonia concentration and take corrective action when ammonia concentrations rise. The DOL 53 offers accurate measurements at both low and high concentrations, negligible cross-sensitivity with other gases and a long service life without the need to calibrate the sensor. The DOL 53 can be installed directly in the livestock barn without pipes and pumps. The DOL 53 measures ammonia concentrations between 1.5 and 100 ppm, with an output range between 0 and 10 V.
